Green River Festival on-site paid parking is completely sold out. There are several easy and free options for satellite parking close to the festival:
Park in downtown Greenfield
The city of Greenfield is waiving parking fees all weekend long in the lots behind Main Street, the town parking garage and other sites downtown. There will be free shuttle buses from Court Square in the center of town, starting at 9am and running until one hour after the end of the festival each night. It’s a very quick ride (less than 5 minutes) and the buses will drop off passengers right at the festival entrance.
Park at Wedgewood Gardens
Regular Green River Festival attendees will be familiar with this site as we’ve used it for parking for many years. There will be regular free shuttle buses to the fairgrounds starting at 9am and continuing until one hour after the end of the festival each night. Passengers will be dropped off at the festival entrance. The shuttle ride is less than 10 minutes long. Wedgewood Gardens is at 1 Kimball Dr Greenfield, MA 01301.
Park in the Fairgrounds neighborhood
The Festival site is in a residential neighborhood, and some of the local residents offer parking close to the fairgrounds. Pricing and availability will vary. Please do not park in non-sanctioned areas, and observe No Parking signs.
Bike to the festival
We encourage biking to the fairgrounds, which are a short distance from downtown Greenfield. We offer a free bike valet service near the festival entrance. Be sure to use reflective gear and light your bike well for the ride home in the dark.
