PARKING AT THE
GREEN RIVER FESTIVAL
There are several options for parking your vehicle at the Green River Festival; rest assured you will never be without an option! These are listed in order of closeness, convenience and cost to the Festival.
• PREMIUM on-site PARKING (PARKING PASS REQUIRED).
These are the closest & most convenient parking spots at the Festival, right on campus and a short walk from the Festival Grounds. These premium spots usually sell out, so if that is your preference, buy them early! (NOTE: ALL HANDICAPPED PARKING SPOTS ARE IN THESE LOTS AND ARE ALWAYS FREE - NO PARKING PASS REQUIRED.)
• FOUR RIVERS CHARTER SCHOOL PARKING.
Parking will be available for $5/day at the Four Rivers Charter school located right next to the festival grounds at 248 Colrain Rd, Greenfield, MA 01301. From there you'll be able to walk to the festival. PARKING PASS NOT REQUIRED.
• OFF-SITE SATELLITE PARKING.
This lot is located at the old Wedgewood Gardens 48 Colrain St. Greenfield, MA. This lot is FREE with a shuttle taking you back and forth to the festival throughout the weekend. No overnight parking is available. PARKING PASS NOT REQUIRED.
• DOWNTOWN SHUTTLE LOT.
The Town will offer free parking on Saturday and Sunday in the “Downtown Economy” Parking Lot, which is located behind Wilson’s Department Store (258 Main St, Greenfield, MA 01301.) See parking lot map for location: DOWNTOWN PARKING LOT MAP
The Shuttle will run during the following times:
Friday, July 12th 5pm-11pm
Saturday, July 13th 12pm – 11pm
Sunday, July 14th 12pm – 8pm
• PARK AT THE GRF CAMPGROUND
Parking is free at our campground lot (Franklin County Fairgrounds) located at 87 Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA 01301. From there you can take our campground shuttle to and from the festival.
There is handicap parking available at the event (Lot A); no parking pass required.
Do I need to purchase a parking pass to park at the festival?
All festival goers without camping have the option of purchasing a parking pass for each day they are attending. Festival goers with camping do not need to purchase a parking pass, as parking at the campground is included. Carpooling is encouraged. Alternatively, you can walk or bike in without having to pay for parking with many parking lots within a mile of the festival grounds.
How much do parking passes cost?
Parking passes cost $10 per vehicle per day.

Online here or at our offices at 32 Masonic St. Northampton, MA.
What happens if parking passes sell out, but I don't want to walk or bike into the festival?
Free satellite parking is always available! A shuttle is available to transport festival goers to and from satellite parking at set times throughout the day.
Will there be parking passes available at the festival?
If we have not sold out of parking passes, they will be available for purchase at the festival. There is limited on-site parking, so please purchase parking passes early to ensure access to on-site parking.
